All the "top" teams are overrated... Flordia State we could beat easily. Everyone looks beatable!

Get mad at me all you want but we have a chance to win it and and will not get stomped! Florida State barely skates by an average team again. Everyone here except myself seems very pessimistic. What are your thoughts? This is the best team we've had in years and will be 8-1 going into a bye week. We will be rested up and easily pound Whisky, Minnesota and Iowa.

 
Even if we win out, it's a long shot for us to make the playoff. Everyone realizes FSU is overrated and we're all just waiting for them to drop a game, but they don't. Until they drop a game though they deserve to be in the top four. Personally I think they should be #1 until they lose, they have the right to defend there championship and should be rewarded for that with the top seed if they go undefeated. The Huskers on the other hand still haven't really proven anything. I don't even know who we are and the season is 2/3rds. We probably won't know who we are till the championship game or bowl season. We can play with anyone, but I still don't know that we can beat anyone. Until the season is in the books we won't know if this has all been a sham put on by a weak schedule and conference, i.e. this team tripping over itself when it matters most, or if they're the real deal.

I hope everyone beats each other to a pulp and we keep winning. We'll be ok. And Florida States schedule is very weak. Also are schedule is rated harder than Spartys.

 
The only scenario for us to get into the playoffs is that first, we have to win out. If that doesn't happen this whole argument is moot...

Then the SEC has to completely eat itself. I mean to the point of having two three loss teams playing for the SEC championship...

It doesn't mean teams like A&M didn't get crazy boosts by beating top ten SC teams that ended up suckling who in turn lost to other sucks teams to have 3 losses giving all "good teams" right now "top 10" wins that boosted them to where they were. His point is still valid in that ranking shouldnot come out til week 4 or later.

 
I'll agree AA. Any given Saturday, right?

Personally, I'm just at a place where I just want us to play hard and focus on winning every week. One at a time. As a fan, I will truly enjoy every game too.

Then, if we go 11-1 and take the conference, we'll see what happens. If we wind up left out of the playoff with one loss, then I'll be pissed. THEN we can start the epic b!^@h fest!!!

But if there's four more deserving teams, what can we do? I guess FSU's schedule is comparable to ours. They've beat a worse than you think top 10 ND, a clearly down top 25 Clemson, and fringe top 25 Louisville. Our strongest games are a loss to top 10 Sparty and a solid unranked Miami. We'll see how the Miami-FSU game goes....

If FSU slips by undefeated and gets rolled in the playoff, I will sh*t a brick.
