What is our second most impressive win?

The difference between Dirk Chatelain and my post is, Dirk gets paid to write mirrors of what we write here so we'll click on his stories. Nobody pays me a dime to write that.

It's disheartening that people can't grasp what Dirk does for a living.

EDIT - and if it's more palatable, trade "troll" for "trawl." Either way, he's casting a net crafted by message boards, hoping to snare some tuna. And he's one hell of a fisherman.

i care more about content than alleged intent.

Quite frankly the Big 12 is just as much crap right now as it was when we left it. TCU and West Virgina came from the Mountain West and shambled Big East. They are now both right at the top of the league while OU sits behind them, Texas nudges elbows with ISU and Kansas for rights at the bottom, and Okie Lite is doing god knows what. Baylor......BAYLOR is a conference front runner year in and out now. The Big 12 should be the laughing stock, not the Big Ten. Hopefully that sorts itself out next year.

There aren't two impressive wins. That's the problem. We've played such a weak schedule that we don't even have two good wins so far. 8-1 is an illusion, a facade covering a weak team with a grossly embarrassing list of opponents. We'd have been better off staying in the Big XII, away from this crap-a$$ conference, playing teams with chops, teams in the top ten, teams that are nationally relevant instead of this... mess.Nebraska is no better off today than we were in November, 2007. We just have a better record. It's a total sham.
That awkward moment where there's more truth than satire
Hahaha I found myself nodding slowly through Knappc's whole post not realizing he was being totally sarcastic
Find. Two. Impressive. Wins.

Then tell me how sarcastic I'm being.

i think it will. or at least sooner than later.

but i want everyone to think about this: charlie weiss, coach of kansas football, was fired after losing to texas. ouch.

The second one has yet to happen. Next three games could be that game, all of them COULD.

I actually let out a squeally giggle reading that

Miami #1

And I was impressed with FAU at the time. Seemed like we were fairly well prepared to play. Otherwise have been happy with the results but very disappointed with performance. Lots of things have been good in short stints, with various units, but rarely has everything clicked at the same time or for more than about 2 quarters.

I've never been good at math, but I don't think this adds up.

We have the 1 (Miami) and no other one yet. The next three COULD be impressive wins, Wisconsin for sure. So we COULD end with 4 impressive wins. I would settle for two impressive wins out of the slate as long as it means winning out no matter what.

We provide the content, that's the genius.

EDIT - and if it's more palatable, trade "troll" for "trawl." Either way, he's casting a net crafted by message boards, hoping to snare some tuna. And he's one hell of a fisherman.
Step 1 - cruise through four or five message boards.

Step 2 - take notes on the hot-button topics.

Step 3 - basically regurgitate what's been said there using your writing gift to make it seem fresh and new.

Step 4 - Profit!

This is not new, it is not an indictment, it is not a critique. It simply is what it is.

And we still don't have two impressive wins.

even with the edit, you originally accused dirk of ignoring "80%" of why we left the big 12. but you agree we should have stayed in the big 12 (even though i do not think dirk was advocating that at all)?
