CFB Selection Committee Rankings (Updated 11/11)

Beat Wisconsin and we'll make a big jump. The committee is making it clear you need to beat somebody
Well that explains it all. Neb drops 3 spots for winning and ucla moves up 7 spots for beatng unranked Washington team. This makes zero sense. System is flawed already
They rolled a top 10 team.
That was 3 weeks ago on a miracle.
Miracle?

62-27 is miraculous.

Rankings should mean nothing. If we win out.. Things will work themselves out.

It makes no sense where we are from our Homer-side angle, but lets just let things work themselves out.

I am shocked at the slide. I had us moving up two to #11 not back three to #16. However, I am guessing our ranking was propped up by a late season bye that allowed us to be 8-1 while most of the teams around us where 7-1 or 7-2. Now that most teams played nine games and are 8-1 or 7-2 (on par with wins), the committee looks at our body of work and says our wins are not against ranked teams.

The team should not apologize for their schedule (not our fault the B1G did not have us playing a better schedule or that the 2/3 of the conference is unranked). All they can do is win, which is what they have been doing.

I am disappointed in some of the teams that should not be ranked or ranked as high, but this committee has not been consistent in how they weigh things across teams yet.

Ucla biggest mover after needing overtime to beat Colorado 2 weeks ago. Let that sink in. 7 two loss teams ahead of us is ridiculous

How about CFP #15 Georgia (7-2)? They moved up 5 spots after beating 5-5 Kentucky last weekend.

Their "big" win came in week one against CFP #19 Clemson. Georgia has since lost to 4-5 South Carolina and were blown out by 5-3 Florida- itself blown out by a Missouri team that managed only 119 total yards of offense.

Georgia is garbage. They've beaten no one and lost to both an awful Florida and SC. They honestly shouldn't be in the top 20 (how the hell are they above LSU even?).

A&M being ranked is so bad. That team got beat 59-0 and barely beat ULM. Auburn is a big win, but enough to slide past a few if those others? No.

Hell, Wisconsin being that close to us is even disrespectful. They lost to NORTHWESTERN. How the hell they move up 5 spots is absolutely ludicrous.

So much failure from the committee.

Really need to win this week and have Miami take care of business against fsu.

seems like the top ten is pretty fair.

Now that we've gotten that out of our systems, I think their top 4 is good. Alabama was dropped out of it like I thought they should be.
