In retrospect... please explain our defense?

It's called the Swiss cheese D. The Swiss invented it years ago, pelini has mastered it, perfected it. Basically you throw block of Swiss cheese and the field and watch the mice run thru holes. After the have exited the hole 15 yards downfield, you pray they trip over the 17 yard line. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Mostly it doesn't.

True, FWIW, I thought Gerry looked like he wasn't giving up when he chased down Gordon two times from behind to stop TDs. There are very, very few players in college football capable of doing that. I was more of the mind the front seven had hung our safeties out to dry. But that's just one man's opinion.
