The chance for hardware was there. Just had to beat Wisconsin and get by Minnesota. Is that impossible? Probably would still be here.If there's no hardware one year from now......it's all talk and there will be no question about our national reputation.
I agree. That doesn't change in 2015.The chance for hardware was there. Just had to beat Wisconsin and get by Minnesota. Is that impossible? Probably would still be here.If there's no hardware one year from now......it's all talk and there will be no question about our national reputation.
Agreed. I wasn't convinced that would happen, but obviously I was incorrect on that.the people that mattered wanted him gone.

The next step is winning a championship. So, how long does he have?If there's no hardware one year from now......it's all talk and there will be no question about our national reputation.
Why do we have to have hardware one year from now? You really expect instant gratification?
Whoever our next coach is he doesn't have to win a title (conference or national) next year to prove this was a good move. He just needs to show improvement over No Pelini.
My opinion is that you give a guy 4 years unless he completely f's up everything. Maybe more if he comes close and doesn't embarrass the program like Bo did.The next step is winning a championship. That's how I would gauge it too. IMO, 7 wins is baseline for year one, and after that, we need, at minimum, a respectable showing in the CCG within 2 years. My opinion is that you give a guy 4 years unless he completely f's up everything. Come on Bo, we know you're salty about being let go but get a grib man. You can't expect out of a new coach what you couldn't do in 7 years.Yes. Without question. If there's no hardware one year from now......it's all talk and there will be no question about our national reputation.
