Sunday some people posted the same thing saying tressel - 140. Basically means he was the favorite to be the head coach.

-140 is pretty much equivalent to a team being favored by 2 points..

You bet 140 dollars to win 100.

The line was taken down for most of the day today. ( by Vegas ) I think it was only taken down because Dustin fox made that tweet. Vegas takes prop bets like this off the board as soon as any thing is leaked ( so someone couldn't bet against it with leaked info) Vegas had to respect someone with some decent credibility and immediately take it down until they can figure out if the source is credible and it's save to put back up or the info leaked is legit. With them putting it back up but changing the odds a little.. It would be my guess that they took Dustin Twitter comment very lightly.. Now +140 it's like saying they are an underdog by 2 or so points.. But still have the best odds out of the whole group.

This is my understanding if anybody has anything different fill it in.

Lower number means Vegas thinks it is more likely and pays out less, higher number means less likely and bigger payout if it happens.

Just checked on my betting website to see if it was consistent and all the numbers are exactly the same. It's legit.

Why heckle the sock? He's just relaying info that he's hearing, so no need to get upset. No matter how it turns out, you will all know about the same time anyways as word travels fast. The radio commentary has been very similar - that Eichorst has been extremely good at keeping things under wraps so far. We will see how things turn out, but I'm fairly impressed with SE, and he seems like a really intelligent guy.

There's been a few claims of Tressel being spotted in or around Lincoln yesterday.

My question....

With all the press coming out of Lincoln and Husker fanatics "stalkers" lurking around every corner with camera phones why no pictures?

No pictures, no autographs, nobody that had an actual conversation with the guy, no pictures of the plane, was nobody else on that plane? No airport staff talking about seeing him....etc.

A lot of different sources claim to have spotted him but I've currently seen zero physical evidence he was actually here.

I am pulling for it to be true but I'd love to see a lot more smoke right now.

It's like seal team 6 escorted him in and out of Lincoln or something.

I didn't see the local news...
