the best way to the NC game WAS to be successful in the SEC. in today's playoff world - the best way to get there is to walk through a cake schedule in the B1G west going undefeated at Nebraska. even the biggest SEC homer would take a look at our schedule the next few years, even the next 5 and see that there is 1, maybe 2 games that have to be won in order to make the playoffs. the rest of the schedule is BYU, Indiana, and Rutgers. beat Ohio State. beat Wisconsin. make playoffs. sounds a lot better than A&M, LSU, Alabama, Florida, Auburn, Ole Miss, Miss St. and whatever other teams were on that gauntlet of a schedule Arkansas has to navigate every year.

Nick saban wouldn't have done much better so far with the situation he inherited. Still it was a good coaching job just getting to a bowl this year with the toughest schedule in the country. We currently have our best recruiting class since the rankings started coming in for '15 so we should only get better
