DPE seems to be the first frosh with this much potential since...?

Ameer, he did have a great Fr. season on kick off special teams. Saved a couple games himself, Fresno St comes to mind.

On the defense side, I remember watching a young Corey McKeon and thinking holy sh#t this kid is gonna be good. Then it went down hill from there.

Point is, potential is just that - potential. I'm definitely excited for DPE's future, but there are a LOT of playmakers on this team who hopefully are given a greater chance to shine by the schemes that our new staff implements.

 
I have to agree with True... it's TMart. From the pure perspective of "holy sh#t this guy can be special" freshman season he has so much potential. I'd love to see what would have been without injury, and can't wait to see what DPE does.

 
Forget "potential". That's the fuzzy thinking you see from so many fans calling high school recruits "beasts" and "ballers"
