I don't care about "splash" hires because most times you are just hiring a name and not necessarily someone who will fit in with your program. I like Riley because every sign points to him being an almost perfect fit with Nebraska. I;m glad our AD chose the right guy and not just the right "name".

It absolutely caused him to leave at Stanford. And he has guilt in the mess with SF. He had a lot of autonomy in their draft picks. Which are wretched and part of the problem that led to his year this year.
