This is the plan. It will be Santos, bando, and rose. Bando has the most upside. The other 2 are physically limited but could be solid. Rose has good instincts. I could see the fresh young pushing Santos for his spot. He could eventually be our Mike but prob not this season

Rose will be MIKE and Bando will be SAM.

Coaches have explicitly statedthat Banderas will be MIKE and Rose will be WILL. Banderas is more physically gifted than Rose, which is what the coaches like in the MIKE position. And who knows maybe the new coaching staff helps Banderas get over the mental block that made him play slow.

This is a true statement, and I'm not being sarcastic. For as "athletically gifted" as this kid is (yes, everyone knows he was really good at hurdles, alright? you can stop now), I've never seen it with pads on this kids shoulders.

I don't see why we would want Bando at Mike. Kid isn't tough enough to take on the blocks up the middle, he has more speed than Rose so I think OLB would make more sense. Santos and Bando have proved nothing to me so far. I'd rather see what Newby and the incoming freshman can do at this point.

Agree. It's not that Bando is slow. It's that he was slow deciding what to do. I think he will be much better the next two years. He was coming around at the end of last season. And if the system is easier to work in, it'll be all the better.

Well hell Mav, also watch the Miami game. You can see Bando how many times in that first half before he was spelled by Roach, show obvious hesitation in picking up Duke Johnson out of the backfield, but when he did, he was catching him from behind. That again is not a knock on his athletic ability. It's a knock on his mind, the system, or the teacher.

Rose is by far the better of the 2 and honestly should man the inside. His reaction time is better and he can diagnose a play faster then Banderas.
