Humm. I'm not as musically literate as many of you, especially with pre-00s or non-pop fare. Let's go with three big name 20th century artists from different genres:

Luciano Pavarotti
Louis Armstrong
Frank Sinatra

I really like Michael Jackson and Freddie Mercury (of names frequently listed here). What do people feel about Michael Buble?

Also, in many ways, Seth MacFarlane could be the voice of our generation. So impressive. He sings like that and brings us Giggity!...
