What is the level of competition? I am impressed with him as well, but if he is playing against lesser opponents, who knows? Since he is all over the place, do they just not know where to place his 'stars'? I am not big into understanding the rankings so sorry for the moronic questions...I can't believe this kid doesn't have 4 or 5 stars, and more offers (although I'm sure they will come). Not only are his stats (ints, tds, CO player of the year, etc) very impressive, his film is more so. I am very, very impressed with just about everything he does, and he does it all except qb). He is one of the best recruits, in my opinion, we gotten in a while. Very happy with his commitment. Don't let the 3 stars fool you, this kid is the real deal. I expect his to start sometime his first year (if he plays lb), and make some memorable blocks on special teams. He also reads the offense very well (10 ints).
Pine Creek is 4A which is the second highest classification in Colorado. Same school as Avery Anderson in case you didn't already know. What is the level of competition? Welcome to Husker Nation JoJo!!
Nope they aren't sure. He's coming as a "defensive athlete" who could play OLB/Safety/NickelbackOur we sure he's going to be a lb? Maybe its just me, but he reminds me a lot of Nate Gerry and looks like he'd make one heck of a safety
He has a lot of offers at Safety but we were looking at him for LB. But we're also putting together a pretty good class of LBs - plus the guys from last years' class - so he could also find a spot a Safety as well. Our we sure he's going to be a lb? Maybe its just me, but he reminds me a lot of Nate Gerry and looks like he'd make one heck of a safety
Warrior10 has it right, he is being recruited as a Defensive Athlete. JoJo said so in an interview this morning with Sharp and Benning today. He has a lot of offers at Safety but we were looking at him for LB. Isn't that similar to McBride?OLB would fit Banker's philosophy of recruiting safeties to OLB, OLB to MLB, ect., ect..
