I think Mike Riley was about to cry when he was interviewed. It isnt working out how he expected it to.

Good News.....Its only half time

 
BYU adjusted. TA looked All World in the first quarter, and has looked beyond awful since. The D had a couple good series early, but since have done nothing. This reminds me of Callahan ... The coach that never won a game when trailing at the half.

I really bought into the "use what we have", "like the idea of a mobile QB". "not going to make TA a drop back passer"..... My a$$. TA's thrown 27-28 passes if my count is correct. No zone read, no option, no traps, counters, draws or designed QB runs.......

Square peg meet round hole.

Even Beck's call were not this stupid....

 
The two biggest concerns I had heading into the game were offensive line and linebackers - both have played woefully bad today. The defensive line isn't getting pressure consistently enough and we have no run game, either.

Combine that with the penalties and turnover, and it makes sense Nebraska is in the position they're in.

Nebraska is doing just about everything they couldn't do this game if they wanted to win. Here's to hoping they play a better second half.
