Southern Mississippi

RE WatchEspn app:

The video you see on WatchESPN depends upon your ESPN video/TV channel package subscription.

This is from an email from espn customer care.
That sounds right. I used watchESPN at my parent's house and it required selecting cable provider and login for cable company. When I returned home the cable company had blocked out the ESPN channels. I had to call to get them unblocked.

Where have you guys been? I remember ESPNews being a channel back when I was in the 6th or 7th grade over a decade ago. Course back then it was basically just a half hour version of SportsCenter that was continuously updated throughout the day and airing 24/7. Never had any live events or anything.

If you have cable you can use watch ESPN. Either project your computer to a TV, use an Xbox, etc
The watchESPN app only lets you watch the specific ESPN channels you already get over cable. We don't subscribe to ESPNU through cable, for example, so we can't view ESPNU on the watchESPN app or website.

I know it's been a channel for some time. I didn't know they showed live games on it - other than the occasional start of a game while the previous game on another channel was finishing up.

Boy, Jeff Bower and Larry Fedora had Southern Miss rolling along as a good program, 18 straight winning seasons, bowl wins, etc. Then the bottom just fell out. Looks like they might be starting to rebound a bit.

Southern Miss has a better record than us. That's unsettling.

For real though this needs to be a beat down of epic proportions.

They've looked pretty good offensively so far. They can pitch it around a little bit so I expect them to move the ball. We should move it better.

FWIW; Southern Miss has better passing stats than any of the other three Nebraska opponents. I'm sure the film will say fling it around some and see what happens.

Good. The secondary needs the work.

Didn't Southern Miss actually beat us or something early in the last decade? What happened to that program?

1-3 would make this a pretty disastrous start. Let's take care of business this week, Huskers. Overlook nobody.

2004. Joe Dailey ran out of bounds.

Beat us in Callahan's second game in 2004 in Lincoln. 21-17, I think. Joe Daley overthrew Matt Herrien on second or third down and the Huskers couldn't convert after that. Had a chance at the end.
