Michigan is not very good this year either, but they beat BYU today 31-0.

This. Loyal doesn't mean stupid. And as you said, Michigan didn't have issues with BYU's mythical WR's...... We are looking at 6-6 at best IMO.....

But the spike.....awful.

Riley teams seem to like to get penalized.

I don't even think spiking is an automatic penalty anymore you see it a lot and it goes uncalled, just like motioning first down use to be a penalty but isn't anymore
