CB David Ross

Just ruined my day.

Some of the blame HAS to go to BC and his staff. This is not the first, or second, or third time we have lost an important recruit.

We need to do better at locking up these kids.

 
I just wanted him to have the NUTS to tell us so we could try to get someone else....... this kills our class. it was great... now it is just OK. we REALLY need good CB's. we have one in our juco, but none for the future. this means next year we will have to go JUCO AGAIN!!!!

How do you lock them up when they lie and mislead like they do!!!!???? :angry:

He was a soft verbal, then a solid commit, then he takes trips to Oregon State and Arizona State but still tells all that he is solid and then now chooses the Beavers. I'll take the other 27 guys who WANT to be Huskers. Enjoy the class that we have not the two guys who decided to go elsewhere....late

Sorry, but I don't buy this whole "if he didn't want to come here wasn't good enough to be a Husker" bit.

Just because a kid has a tough time making up his mind doesn't mean he's going to be any less of a player.

If he doesn't want to come here, he won't come here. PERIOD.

And we need to a better job of convincing kids to want to come to Lincoln.

Losing Ross and Lewis takes a LOT of luster off this class, in my opinion. We went from great to good. Yippee.

Kills our class? Really? One flaky corner that can't commit to a pare of shoes cannot and should not kill our class.....

 
Here's what I got----------

Scout.com reports - Ross' coach is quite annoyed and embarrassed right now. Ross basically committed to everyone, NU, OSU, and ASU. Ross never told his coach anything about OSU.

Just a young kid who couldn't make up his mind and didn't want to say no to anyone, plus wanted the spotlight as long as he could hold on to it.

stars=shiney little objects.... don't discout the other guys abilities because they are 1 star less.

We will make due. Not the end of the world losing 2 recruits.

There's something odd about losing top DB prospects the last three years now, but how can you honestly put this on anyone other than Ross. He told us he was coming, and led us to believe that up until the morning of signing day... This whole thing speaks to his character, not the ability of the coaching staff imo.
