Seven is too long, but he should get at least four which is what Clownahan was given. I'm a Riley supporter. If I'm wrong, it wouldn't be the first time.
ADS, This captures exactly how I feel right now. In fact, it's such a good post it deserves more than one +1. So I'm going to go back and give four of your other, earlier posts +1s.Jesus this thread is terrible. The same people that want Riley fired are the same ones that bash the players and boo at the games. You're doing nothing but hurting the program and making yourself look like an a$$. It's a tough season so far, and luck hadn't been on your side like it has been in the past (see: 2012 season).
The truth is that the coaches aren't perfect and they're working with what they got. The players aren't perfect but they're fighting like hell to win. So get off your f'ing high horse and give them a chance.
sh#t like that article only sets the team back more and hurts the psyche of the players.

And the Riley backers are telling those same recruits to come here because our current players suck, within earshot of our current players. The players aren't perfect, but we support them and root for them to do better.
The coaches aren't perfect, but we support them and root for them to do better.
In neither case are they doing terrible, but they don't have the W's to show for it -- and we know we're all hurting because it's been so close.
This is about exactly what ADS said.
Are the doubters some of the ones bashing the players? Maybe. There's probably some of that on both sides. One thing is for sure, it's only from one side that you see fans badmouthing coaches in earshot of visiting recruits, or expressing hope that recruits or players leave for elsewhere for their sake.
ADS isn't wrong. There is no one here blindly defending Riley. Some people here can understand a year of transition and will reserve making toxic comments until next year or the year after.Just commenting about the bolded . . .Jesus this thread is terrible. That is wrong. The people DEFENDING Riley are the ones that are bashing the players in some ill-fated attempt to make excuses for him.
Carry on . . .
Not really, I think everyone should be given a fair shot but should not be crowned starter when they walk on campus. Young players in three years should be able to grasp the system and run it well. This is a typical transition year, although it hasn't gone perfectly it is going to take some time to get us back to where we all want to be.And the Riley backers are telling those same recruits to come here because our current players suck, within earshot of our current players. The players aren't perfect, but we support them and root for them to do better.

Are current players < prospective recruits?
Hell of a strawman. But it's the strawman you need right now.And the Riley backers are telling those same recruits to come here because our current players suck, within earshot of our current players.
Haha!Hey mods...we NEED a thumbs down button. Need it! Come on give it to us. Do it.![]()

Some choose to be toxic all the time no matter what.
Practically every thread right here on this forum does exactly what I stated. How is that a strawman? Do I need to post links and quotes?Hell of a strawman.
