Bowl Eligible

Iowa, Wisconsin, Northwestern, Michigan State, Ohio State and Penn State are all going to a bowl. Michigan is 1 win away, Indiana, Illinois and Minnesota are 2 wins away. Meanwhile we are stuck with Rutgers. Unfortunately, we are headed in a very different direction than they are.

Wisconsin has a good coach. They went into Illinois without their starting TB and TE, lost their C, QB and WR during the game and others stepped up.

Are you watching Rutgers/OSU??? Granted it is early and scoreless, but, Rutgers does not look like a pushover.
Yeah and they put up a fight last week too. They, unlike us, are improving each week.

a 4 win season very well could be in the future here. How awful.

we have no chance of a bowl game, maybe the team could go Christmas caroling........never mind, our guys could never cross the street together.

Nebraska doesn't win another game this year.
Sadly, this is very possible. A 3 win season with 9 losses? FDR may have been the President the last time that happened? Or maybe we never lost 9?
And if it happens, so what? No one seems to give a dang if this team wins 9 games or loses 9 games. Riley's seat is as comfortable as ever. Let him have 7 years and retire into the sunset at age 72.

to be sure his hire should have been based on reasonable success rates and performance measures, maybe not normal, but now we are saddled with this guy who really does appear to be what he is......a .500 coach, or worse!
