Again, not trying to run the ball. We know they are much better but still you have to try. Or run the QB. Desperately needed a couple first downs and pin them back deep. Now, we face the rest of the half potentially with our defensive back against the wall. It is critical when you are underdogs to get out early. We get lucky and survived first drive with the 4th down stopper. Then go a lightning quick 3 & out. Preserve the clock for the Spartans. MSU trying to win a national title so it is important that big Ten teams cooperate and help them look their best. LOL
