Interesting stats about Mike Riley and Nebraska

  • Riley has never coached a team that has beaten 2 top-10 opponents in one season
  • 1999 - the last time Nebraska defeated two top-10 opponents in one season, same year Nebraska last won a conference title
Here's hoping we continue a positive trend with this huge opportunity just around the corner, get to a bowl and end this season on a positive note!

We need to spoil the Iowans or Iowegians or whatever they are called and get a huge win over a top 5 team. Both teams have a lot to play for in this game I think we can pull out this win if we contain Bethard and run the ball like we have the last few weeks. With an off week and time to prepare we should be able to come out on top. Also we might want to evaluate where Iowa is at after this game.

Also, Nebraska has never beaten two top ten teams in a season as an unranked team. TO did it once. The Bobfather did it once. It happened a few times in the 50's, but never twice in a season.

May the mighty overseers mods admins and donors bring the swift and just ban hammer again the OP.
