Galaga (fond memories of playing this with my old man)

The worst thing about Tecmo/Super Tecmo Bowl was playing with "gear lookers", ie the people who would look at your controller to see what play you are calling to call the appropriate defense.

The best was continuing to change your defensive player, and the game would fault and not allow the offense to snap it

 
Pulled a lot of all-nighters playing this beautiful bastard.
