RIP Satellite camps - Back from the Dead (4/28/16)

Didn't jamis Winston get admitted to Stanford?
Shaw seems like an idiot. How is what he said even relevant? The issue isn't whether every single team in the NCAA wants to do it. Nobody is forcing anyone to hold these camps.

He may as well just be honest and say he wants to keep the advantage he has with satellite camps being banned which is being located in a recruiting hotbed and not allowing any high school kids to show their talent to outside schools.

In fairness to shaw, his comment was taken way out of context.
It was but can you honestly say you disagree with it?
Yes. I know a lot more than one person per southern state can be qualify to attend Stanford on an athletic scholarship. The restrictions are seriously relaxed for those students. And that's not a bad thing.

However, even if it's 5 players, it may still not be worth the opportunity cost.

Honestly, I'm not sure it's worth it for Nebraksa either.

I am sure it has been said but if the NCAA is really interested in ensuring equity and competition, then it should encourage satellite camps.

Leach is excellent. LMAO.

"I can't help but wonder if there was some manipulation with this thing, because that doesn't make any sense," Leach said. "I don't know what ivory tower or what cliff these people flew to vote, but this is something out of 'James Bond,' where they got together and voted and plotted taking control of the world. Wherever it was, some lair in the mountains with ice and machinery, a cold Dr. Evil environment where these guys voted on this thing then, at the end, they all put their hands together and did a really weird laugh, because soon they'll be conquering the world.

"That's how I envision this entire thing, and to be perfectly honest, there's more evidence towards that direction than anything legitimate happened with regard to this."
