QB Power Rankings

Pretty good rating for Sam, considering he hasn't played a down in over a year...

Most of the other rankings look pretty good except Colt Brennan isn't the best QB in the nation, just a good system in a bad conference.

I didnt realize they had power rankings for all posistions so heres whos on the list for Nebraska...

QB- Sam Keller (#12)

RB- N/A

WR- Maurice Purify (#22)

TE- N/A

OL- N/A

DL- Ndamukong Suh (#24)

LB- Bo Ruud (#22)

DB- Zack Bowman (#10)

Do you think there was a reason that they put Carpenter and Keller that close together? There will probally be a couple of people out there that pay close attention to the seasons that each of them are having.

how many teams in the country will face a top 25 QB 6 times throughout their regular season schedule....with a strong chance for 7 or 8 times after you factor in conf. championship and bowl games..... not very many.

How do they consider Brennan the best QB in the nation? Any team that just passes the ball would have a QB that would have as many passing yards as him and if he played in a better conference he wouldn't be in the top 25. Just go to show you these polls stink.

I'll tell you one player we should fear chris miller #35 ............punter Ball State ranking in at number 9 on the list this kid could very well be the reason for the biggest upset since .........well THE BIGGEST UPSET EVER!!!! :)

Hopefully Purify will be able to play and is still on the team so he can move up his power ranking from #22.
same goes for bowman
Bowman still listed at #10 is REALLY a surprise to me. His resume reads 2003-2004 juco...2005 = 11 Games, 27 tackles, 11 pass breakups and 2 INT's...2006 OUT with a torn ACL & surgery...2007 Likely OUT for the season or until November at best with ruptured patella tendon.

I don't see any way he can climb any higher without stepping on the field for 2 years.
