***Official Purdue Game Discussion Thread***

What Nebraska's running game is missing is this:

  • It can't be just a philosophical choice that you're going to commit to running the football...
  • It can't just be the type of scheme you use for running the football...

...It has to be a mindset.

The great Nebraska rushing teams of the past didn't just enter a game with a coaching philosophy of running the football.

Instead, the entire team had a complete mindset that they were not just going to run the ball on you, but they were absolutely going to over-power you and break your will.
Every team in the BIG TEN has 300 lb big city bruisers who can fall on you with the best of them. That's why everybody has trouble fielding a team halfway through every season.

 
How could the refs possibly not see that ball hit the ground? Everyone else watching the game saw it.
