I think Nebraska is designed to use the clocked. These quick 3 and outs barely using any clock give the other team too many possessions. And when that other team is Ohio State this happens.

Back to Lincoln and prepare for Minnesota.

Try to win 2/3 from here. Bowl. Improvement on last year. We aren't stuck in neutral, but we aren't ready for the big games.

We can win all three and the bowl game. 11-2 is still the best season we have had since Crouch was our QB.

This pretty much sums up Nebraska's struggles in these big games for the better part of 12 years.

We have the skill positions and at least probably the back 7 on D, but the trenches....... maybe DL next year. I'd pay money for 3 juco DE's.........

Ryker Fyfe may actually succeed...provided the playcalling is actually conducive towards allowing Fyfe to use his arm and not try his best Tommy emulation attempt.

Now Beckson needs to call pocket passing plays......he will probably dial up qb draws and more RPO......

Or QB option plays to the boundary that we've been wanting all year long.

What...exactly...makes you believe that going outside is going to succeed tonight? I want to know.

Because it was, save for when we had Ozigbo (our best North/South power runner) running the play. Or were you not paying attention when Tommy got the first on a boundary play (that he got hurt on)?

Have you watched our sweep plays...like...at all? How many have gone for positive yards? Answer anything above zero and you're wrong

Wrong. Our first series had three such plays that went for positive yardage. When Langsdorf got stupid and called boundary/finesse plays with Ozigbo in the backfield is when we were getting stuffed.

my question on O is why do we not go to Westerkamp more often? He either catches his underneath routes, or earns flags. He's more competitive on every deep route at the high point of the ball than any of our other receivers. What the heck are we doing?

We have more talent than Wisconsin and Northwestern, and they didn't get murdered like this.

On OL and DL Wisconsin is much more talented than we are at the moment.

Northwestern? Not sure how to explain how they kept up with OSU other than they'vee played a lot better today

Yeah what was that backwards pass... there were 5 buckeyes there when he caught the ball. they should have ran up the middle...

Our D-line can't get any push. So they try to play patty cake in hopes that they'll contain Barrett in the pocket. When we do blitz our LB's can't make the play. Banker is asking way too much from our db's right now. They're being forced to make the tackle and play pass coverage. Our D-line and LB's need to step up.

Banker doesn't have a choice with LB's who can't tackle and a DL who can't put pressure on the QB on their own. Our front 7 needs better athletes who are more disciplined and who can tackle, not this MRI arm tackling BS he has done all year.

One sweep with Oz (wrong back) and one with DPE who hasn't really ever done much with one. Use Moore, Morgan or Reilly. Hell run Carter again as a H back
