I agree - if he was sold on us he would have pulled the trigger at the Army game. I think we have as much chance with him now as we do with Lenior.

But they would play a few games closer to JC's family. Not sure where he is exactly from, but assuming games against UCLA, USC and Stanford aren't that far away for family. Could be wrong.

 
After looking, their only "close" game in 17, is at Cal. 2018 and beyond scheduling isn't finalized or available...

This makes me wonder even more. Is it worth it to send your kid to a school he doesn't want to be at for 1 home game? Hell we could play a bowl game in Cali next year, which would match the amount of "close" games WSU had.

 
Ok so now we're saying that "staying close to home" means for maybe 1 or 2 weekends a year the team is playing within driving distance.

I feel like anything outside of a few hours drive is all the same in terms of distance. Picking a school because once a year you get to play in the hometown seems very backwards to me
