This is sad to watch...but, like a car crash, I just have to look
So sad, yet so true. No physicality. We are so lacking in even the most basic of fundamentals....Again back to identity....soft, penalty prone, lacking mastery of the basics...First Quarter Impressions
- Ohio State has the more talented roster, but the real reason they are making this look easy is because they are WELL-COACHED.
- Nick Gates is going to have a long night. This will remind him of last year's bowl game versus Tennessee.
- Nebraska is soft on both sides of the ball. Don't even worry about watching the skill positions. Just focus a series or two on the trenches. We are overmatched.
- The Cornhusker offense has ZERO identity.
We have now become the team that pads the stats of those in pursuit of greatness...HuskerInLostWages said:We expected we'd probably lose by a large margin, but we always hope our team will at least make it a game rather than a practice for the other team. As it stands, we are an elementary school team compared to OSU and many other teams in our conference.
Sausage party, no where drunk enough yet haha.Redux said:
Wow. You were the last name I expected to see when I looked up after reading this post. I like your new style84HuskerLaw said:Game is going about as expecteds. Sadly we are just a LONG way from being relevant in the Big Ten race and a light year from being in the national title hunt.
Blame Riley all you want but we are so far behind the top level programs in talent it is not even debatable. How many of our starters could even earn letters at Ohio State, except playing in the latter minutes of blow out wins. Seriously? Spiehlman maybe. Anybody else? DPE? maybe if he weren't afraid.
We may not stop them all game long really. It is not even a contest talent wise. This is simply not a Riley loss - this loss can be blamed fairly on the the coaches and administration at NU over the past 20 years. They ALL have taken turns trashing our program.
