Bill Moos named AD

Played football at a high level and did a great job at Oregon and Washington State for football. Good hire. Now go and hire Scott Frost and then we will have Bounds that knows football, an AD that has done good things in college football (Oregon and Washington State) and if we can get Frost the football program will be a lot healthier moving forward. One last piece of the puzzle remains. Go and get it done.

Two things.  1.  He got fired from Oregon because he ran afoul of Phil Knight.

Oregon's Rob Mullens was one of the names being tossed around, which sounded good but you have to ask how much he's really running the show up there vs Knight, and how much Knight wanted to hang onto him.

Should also say he did an amazing job at Montana for football. If I remember right, didn't Montaka win a national championship for football when he was the AD there? The rise of Oregon football was under Bill.

I'm a happy person this afternoon.

He was the AD at Montana before going to Oregon. Hired Don Read who led the  Grizzlies to a D1-AA  National Title in 1995.

This is a football AD through and through.

Owns his own cattle ranch as well FYI.

Seems like a solid hire. Exact opposite personality as the Ginger Assassin. He's a football guy. If he does well, would be good for him to groom a #2 to hand the reins to in a few years and keep stability.
