Don't much care how they formulate it as long as it cuts out the injury bug.  We are not deep enough to withstand a big influx of injuries to players.  Want everyone to be ready to play in fall.

I have no idea on the logistics of it (nor if it's possible) but it would be cool to do this with IWCC.  Seems like a win win.  IWCC's guys get exposure, Nebraska builds a strong pipeline to IWCC and both teams get a break from beating on each other.

MR ran 1s vs 2s, and Diaco ran some garbage D because supposedly the players didn't fully grasp his D yet. The hitting has been so weak over the past few years we just as well be playing flag football.
And the comments continued for weeks about it was just a vanilla D...That should've been a clue to all the fans that Diaco was a horrible hire and horrific DC.....Looking back on the spring game, I caught glimpses of the staring.  Didn't you?  Can't you see it?

Looks like it was played as a regular game format with the roster split into Team UCFast and Team UCFierce.

Like it or not, the spring game is an open practice scrimmage..  that being said, I would love to see the teams split #1 offense and #2 defense vs. #2 offense and #1 defense and get the position coaches in stripes so they are on the field calling penalties and making adjustments in real time.
Uh, yeah, let’s have the coaches ref instead of coach on the sideline like a real game...

uh.... it's NOT a real game.... it PRACTICE....   guess you never played ball before... but in PRACTICE the position coaches are on the field... COACHING....
So you want them to ref, and coach their position groups during a practice that 80,000 fans are going to be at? Don’t you think that might cause some issues with flow of the practice from a time perspective?

Do you truly believe mistakes will me made during the spring game and coaches won’t talk to them about their mistakes on the sideleine after the play?

It usually is a practice  "scrimmage".  Most coaches want to create a game"like" experience for the players to see how they do when a coach ISN'T holding their hands.  This isn't 1st grade flag football.
