 I don't follow any recruits on twitter so I haven't seen much peer recruiting.  I  come here to read that stuff.  Nothing in this thread since January 9.

The speculation seems to be that he isn't fully qualified yet.  But I don't think there's much question that he really wants to be here.

Agree but usually when not qualifying we here a lot more noise then this so I think we are good.

I think his qualifications are based on grades, so I imagine that he won't know anymore about getting qualified until May or June.

That's the odd thing about the qualification questions for both Mapieu and Smith (Smith is only speculation as far as I've seen).  Their GPA won't change between now and NSD.  And the next ACT/SAT test dates aren't until after NSD.  So other than showing effort, there isn't anything the coaches are really going to know about them qualifying until after NSD.

So it will be interesting to see how they are handled.
