Dixon

Not concerned about his weight. Shaq Griffin weighed around 220 last season and we all now how that turned out.

SF seems to be following the smaller and faster linebacker mantra that TO followed later in his career to adjust to the speed of the game.

Dixon needs to get bigger to play OLB in the Big Ten, but this would be a very nice development for NU.
Best linebacker in the Big 10 last year (Devin Bush) comes in at 5'11 220. 10 pounds is very doable and likely already being accomplished.

Won't be happy until DIXON gets the waiver.  Would really suck if Patterson gets one but Dixon doesn't because he didn't try that hard to get it, or waited too long to try.

I thought we would beat Michigan mainly because of poor QB play. This will make beating Michigan much more difficult. They just covered their biggest weakness.

Eh. I mean we’ve seen first hand what happens when a more mobile QB is thrown into an anemic pro style offense. Sure Patterson is a dynamic talent, but the problems with Michigan’s offense run deeper than QB IMO.
