*** Official Michigan Game Thread ***

We do need JUCO offensive linemen and freshmen who should understand they'll have a great chance of playing.

Line play is not up to any standard.  Stuffed for a loss of 3 on 3rd and 2.

It's sooo horribly apparent how much better the athletes at Michigan are. They can throw our lineman aside and run our speed players down from behind. We need a talent infusion.

Need big big linemen who will get in that weight room from the minute they arrive on campus and know how to play sound and fundamental football.

You and I simply disagree. No need to be a jerk about it. You want to keep quitters and cancers on the team and on scholarship out of some misguided sense of integrity. I don’t.

If a coaching change results in a kid not being very needed, honor the scholarship. If a kid gets hurt and can’t play or play well, honorthe scholarship.

But if a kid simply refuses to play, try, buy-in, or contribute, then what?

Ric, you've been disingenuous in your arguments and talk out both sides of your mouth. Sorry if my calling you out for your lack of integrity is perceived as being a jerk, but you know full well what you propose is what the SEC does, and it's not honorable.

Maybe you should read the book "More Than Winning". The guy who wrote that is all about honesty and integrity above all else. It's what Nebraska is about.

If you're not about honesty and integrity, maybe you should go find another team to follow.

Milking the clock, Nebraska ran the clock down to 3 minutes left, 3rd Quarter.  The defense should enjoy that breather.   46-3 now...

Or maybe he was trying to build confidence. Improve the culture. Help these kids believe again. Nah. That would be optimism.

C'mon, we can't have Frost be optimistic--it destroys the narrative the naysayers are trying to start here.

That team had won 2 bowl games in a row prior and one of them was a fiesta bowl

If you go and look at the roster from that Fiesta team, most were not on the winless team.  I get that it's easy to look at a score and make that assessment, but going winless is hard to do in College Football and is just as bad for a team's culture and mindset than going 4-8 in the BIG.

I think it is apparent that even great coaching (giving Frost and Co benefit of the doubt) can not out work superior talent.  This game, and in reality most of Riley's tenure and our first 2 games, we lack a lot.  Speed, aggression, strength, talent etc.....
