Well if the phone call was true, hopefully Frost recorded it and turna it into the NCAA. Not like they will do anything but might as well try.

Kentucky is still a basketball school and always will be first.  Stoops has done a great job at one of the bottom rung SEC jobs and credit to the administration for sticking with him .  That said the chances for long term Kentucky football success are not great.  I can understand a kid wanting to play closer to home though.  Kids don't usually choose Duke, Kansas, or Indiana for football though, much like UK.  Good luck to him blazing his own trail!

I can see a last minute flip to the home state team if he wasn’t comfortable going far from home. If there was some kind of payment which is also plausible, I hope UK gets nailed for it. Given NCAA’s ineptitude I don’t have much hope that would happen. Next.

I'm glad Jurgens, Henrich, Hickman, Nelson, Piper or any of our in-state guys never said that. Usually speak about building the program as a whole, not being a hero/savior type.

Still best of luck to this one. He has the ability to be special for sure.

Agree. Team first guys is what we are building here.

Honestly Kentucky is a horrible decision. Over a 4 year time span how many times will you get destroyed by the likes of Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Florida. Throw in the fact Jimbo is now at A&M- guessing in a year or 2 they will join that elite group. No Thanks.

Maybe he thinks it’s easier to be committed to the in state school until the last minute when he’s looking to leave town. So he plans to flip signing day and then pack and enroll?  Sadly, not very many scenarios lead us back to good terms here. Bridges are most likely burned.

Yep.

And, I'm assuming he will sign in December.  So..this would give us only about a month to get him to switch.

Time to move on to another kid.
