Fundamentals plaguing the D ie break down to tackle, don't over pursue.  Clean that up (coaching and players) this D suddenly looks light years better.

This D is just so God awful. 3rd and 23 and no one has any field awareness. If we honestly don't have better young defensive on the bench that could use the playing time and experience it's really sad. I'll trust that our coaching staff believes we don't so they have to go with players like #5 and some of these other slow, clueless players.

Defensively, the rebuild might take longer than anticipated.  If there is no one on the bench that can at least fill the gap and not bite on each and every play fake, each and every time, we are in a bind moving forward for sure.
