Why are we killing ourselves

Be happy and stop blaming everyone.

We just beat the defending ACC champions, who had 15 returnong starters on the road in the blaring humid heat......give the team a break.

We'll do fine against SC, we play very well at home as do many teams in the country like WAKE FOREST

True, but that doesn't mean some glaring weaknesses haven't been exposed.

Ones that are crystal clear to everyone, including Pete Carroll.

Another year, another inept defense against misdirection and zones plays, blown coverage, horrible tackling, inconsistent offense, dropped passes, piss poor line play, stupid a$$ playcalling, yea lets all be happy!!!!!!!!!

And yet we are still 2-0

What do you suggest we do? Get rid of all the coaches?

I personally didn't care for some of the defensive schemes this game, but it's early in the season, and I'm curious what Cosgrove will do with the rest of it.

I agree we should all be happy with getting out of there with the W and we all knew this was going to be a hard game!!!!! Why is everyone so surprised???

I felt like it would be a tough game through the first half or three quarters, but then we'd start to wear them down and come away with a 2-3 touchdown win. I think we're surprised because we just didn't look nearly as solid as many of us expected us to. It wasn't just that Wake looked good (as expected), we looked pretty rough. Our run game was completely shut down, which I wouldn't have expected, at least to that degree.

and I think I've got an emoticon for this situation...

here, I think I've got it....

:yeah

We won fine. But I'm still frustrated at the way we played. And if they had their starting QB, we might not of won. We dominate a small opponent like Nevada and then we go on cloud nine. But we get reality checked by a descent team. Look at what OU did today against Miami. That's where we should be. Not struggling against Wake Forest with a banged up defense and a second string QB.
