After every lose or win the Huskers fans on this board never give the other team any credit. Maybe the fans over looked Wake Forrest. Any time a team wins on the road against a BCS team and ACC Champion is not very easy to do. Nothing is ever good for any Huskers fan. All year I read on this board is how hard the schedule is. The Huskers start 2-0 but thats not good enough. What is good enough? Another f'ing week of fire Callahan again. . Nothing will ever be good enough.

I'm the first one in line to give them credit.....in this day and age when App. St, Ball St almost beating Mich. St. and Akron only losing 20-2 over D-1 powerhouse Ohio St. and were made because we beat the defending ACC champion !!!!!!! :hmmph :hmmph :hmmph :hmmph :hmmph :hmmph :hmmph :hmmph

 
I agree, thats a good team they have down there.

They'll definitely compete for the ACC title again, especially with the way Miami looked today

Yep. And Michigan is going to start off 0-2 this season...with both games at home...wow.

 
The last drive before the end of the first half showed what our offense can really do. If we had done those things the entire game, then this game is a blowout. Wake is pretty good. But not good enough that we only beat them by 3 points.

 
WF played a great game and they have a very good team with some burners. You have to admit it was not a stellar performance on either side of the ball. From either team. That being said there will always be "fans" that are not happy with how the team executed. Plenty of examples for them to point to and say "WTH" :)

I will give Wake credit. They are better than I thought (at least I think so). And, in the end, we beat the defending ACC champs on their home field.

I am hoping that Wake runs the table, of course...

 
They were a quality opponent. They earned everything out there. It's not like this was The Alaskan School of the Blind, they're the defending ACC champs and they played in a BCS bowl last year. And lost a close one to Louisville.

The outcome today didn't really surprise me. I think we should have played better, but it still didn't surprise me.

 
Wake played well, and I give them all the credit in the world but if we were playing like we are capable that game would have been over in the third quarter... Keller gave away at least 21 points with bad passes in the end zone and our defense looked like they were sleepwalking.

There was one play where their HB broke a big gain and our Defensive End ran him down from behind so I know we weren't nearly as slow or as soft as we looked against them, we just weren't playing well at all.

 
I will give WF credit for running three plays and making the "D" look stupid for most of the game.

 
exactly mcat i give them credit for making a Defense and more specifically a defensive Coordinator look slow silly and middleschoolish

 
Wake played a very good game IMO. They found and exploited a weakness in our defense (and offense). They played an extremely well game.

Keller, from what I saw, looks anxious in the pocket and true to what we've heard, tried to force a few passes. He owes Bowman a big fat juicy steak dinner for that INT in the endzone after WF's fumble/int recovery.
