By trying to explain it away, through any number of ways I have read on the 20+ pages of this thread, that is defending actions and the person who is being questioned.

That's a really strange way of looking at trying to gain facts in what happened before you pass final judgement.  

I guess it's best to jump to conclusions before you have facts.

I think maybe a couple of people have done that, but you're really not paying attention to the conversation if you think that's a common theme throughout this thread.

The family says they plan on doing that. I find it highly unlikely/impossible she could ever prove her claim.

The rest is not directed at you. 

Like I said previously, there are reasons to doubt her.

Where I got pissed off is the ignorant people claiming that it can’t have been sexual assault because it doesn’t look like sexual assault and because she waited to say it was. Neither of those are legitimate arguments.

And again, none of this is relevant for Washington. What’s relevant is that he likely didn’t know it was assault or alleged assauly.

Likely didn't know? He KNEW it wasn't assault. If your daughter was sexually assaulted you don't get expelled from school nor press charges. That is flat out common sense

Wrong. 

I posted the legal definition of sexual assault earlier in the topic. You should go look at it and educate yourself. 

It’s like the people making this awful argument have never heard of blackmail or coercian or threats. 

FFS there are porn videos online that are made with people who were trafficked for sex. They don’t all look like your definition of rape.

I hope when a kid of a member on here does something stupid people dont jump and crucify them. Also hope people take seriously sex assault reports. But this story is far from cut and dry, except for most likely Mo sent the video. There are soooo many factors going on here, and many of them dealing with the minds of teenagers. Just telling you all now, this kind of stuff is going to become prevalent with electronics and social media. Ive been teaching my daughter for a long time now about this stuff and what it can do to your life and that you need to be careful and shes only 12, doesnt have a phone yet, and very limited on internet. And i am already worried about it and the future when she does get a phone.
