Hey...a former mod already did all that!  hahaha

I know this comment may have been made in jest. However, to no fault of your own, it is rather naive to the process that occurs before most bans are administered. There is a fair amount of conversation and debate by the full mod team, such that a ban, while delivered by an individual mod, is agreed upon by the mod crew. In fact, individual mods often exempt themselves from these conversations if a conflict of interest is proposed.

Again, teach you might just be having some fun with this suggestion, but I thought I would take the opportunity to pull the curtain back a little to talk about the ban process.

Ummmmmm...someone hacked my account...I didn't really post that.

Don't Ban me!!!

Now that @Thanks_Tom RR has pulled the curtain back a bit, I'll go ahead and unbutton the shirt and pull out the catheter.

We usually let the reports and violations pile up... say like... 10, at least. We then all get really, really drunk, head over to Mav's basement and blast Genesis albums while scrolling Chatroulette. We then ask random strangers how y'all's fate should be decided. The goal is to get through as many as possible before we come across the first random male appendage on screen.

Oddly enough, we don't get through many reports.

In seriousness, we're pretty judicious about those sorts of things, especially if it's a long time member. The only people that get the quick boot are typically obvious trolls, crazies or spammers.
