Regardless of the play calling/scheme etc  We need many more skill players who can contribute.  JD and Wan'dale are the bulk of this O.  Seems like about 85%...

1. Run Mills between the tackles, he'll be successful at some point, Purdue is terrible on defense. 

2. Run Robinson outside of the tackles. 

3. Stop with the cutesy play calling and sideline passes/outs. 

4.. Tell Martinez to quit being so tentative. (1 thousand 1, 1 thousand 2, 1 thousand 3, pull it down and run) 

5. Call 3rd down plays that require a pass PAST the 1st down marker. 

6. Profit

Play calls haven’t been bad.  Execution hasn’t been there 

When your guys never execute the play and you keep calling it, that is the definition of bad play calling. The coach has to give them something they can execute.
