I don't get the game, so I am watching online - is it really as bad as it looks????

I just don't get how we are this bad.

Our offense is playing decently, if we had a defense they wouldn't be under so much pressure. But every time Ball State touches the ball, they're torching us - run, pass, 50 yards, touchdown.
