In all honestly, I'm upse tthe game is cancelled, but also I'm glad that if they are gonna have a mini-outbreak it doesn't get transferred to our players. There have been ideas of how this game could be played. Switching PSU for Wiscy and Wiscy's non-divisional w/ us so we play the same day.

I said it from the beginning, the B1G should have just gone forward with teams that wanted to play. 

This all or nothing really isn't that way at all.  The precedent has been set and this won't be last time we see this happen.

 
Putting the cart waaayyy ahead of the horse.  But if it comes down to a tie breaker between Wisc and NU for anything, NU should get credit for it.  Even if a "winner" wasn't declared.

It still puts us at an extreme disadvantage. If we finish undefeated the rest of the way out we go 6-1. They finish out undefeated they are 7-0. Not a tie. They go not us. That game vs Nebraska if we win would put us at 7-1 and them at 7-1 in theory so we would go due to head to head. This is like costing us 2 games.

I had concerns of the accuracy of this part of my calculation, but what do you know, it was correct. 

Additionally, I think we can agree that if we were down to our fourth string QB we would still play this game.  I have lost a lot of respect for Wisconsin.

I recall addressing this issue in the Mega-Thread as it related to all of CF & the collective response was it's not about W's & L's in this covid season.   Unsurprisingly, that changed quickly.  As Frost said, teams will find a way...
