I wish he would just cut the crap and just say that they are playing horrible. First thing he starts talking about positives to take out of this game. YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME! Please show some emotion man!

 
You know it's bad when Stanford can upset USC in it's first year with a new coach while we are getting killed in year 4.

It did not take long for Pete Carroll to have USC competing, and winning, national championships. And although Notre Dame fell apart this year, Charlie Weis turned that team around the first year he got there (again, i know it didn't last).

We do not need 5,10,20 years to compete for a National Championship. We need a good coaching staff that can get these kids ready to play at their full potential. Coaches that can get these kids fired up and believe in themselves. Attitude is HUGE in college football, and the skill and athleticism we have on this team is right up there with teams that are contending for the NC this year.

It is an EMBARESSMENT (to quote Matt Davidson), that our team looks like it does this year. There is no heart, no determination, and our stats are a downright abomination.

Devany must truly be rolling over in his grave right now.

 
It doesn't have to be the dark ages. We have the foundation to be a powerhouse, with facilities, money, fan support, tradition, and some pretty good athletes.

The right coach can turn this around rather quickly. Obviously, Bill Callahan isn't that man.
