Id agree. Gotta give the D some grace today with Chin's situation as to scheming, BUT the guys are playing poorly. Blown coverage, missed tackles, no pressure etc...

Yeah he took care of business in the first half so he didn’t have to give a rah rah fire you up halftime speech.
Great list of excuses. This maybe flies in year one, but my God, year 4 we should not be making this list especially after our multiple already moral victories this year.
What do we know at this point? ARe we sure that Michigan St and Michigan are top 10 teams? Are we sure that OU is a top 5 team? I am wondering if we really have turned the corner? Minnesota is bigger up front than anyone else we have played so far. They bullying us all over the field. We look like a Jr high team at this moment. Whats worse is that we are allowing ourselves to play down to this level on both sides of the ball.

Yes… when he had all the talent we had and a developed scheme. The calm approach when the team looks like they’re going through the motions hasn’t worked the past seven years.

Osborne had an interesting stat if I remember right. Points spiked in the third quarter. This would be due to depth, conditioning, but mainly adjustments.
Beat the s#!t out of them in the first half, put your foot in their neck in the 3rd.

Minnesota didn't do anything fancy in that first half.
All they did was:
It's been nothing fancy. We've just been outcoached and outplayed.
All they did was:
- Pound the rock (Because they have the bigger offensive line)
- Use Curl-Flat passing concepts when Nebraska's Defense ran Cover 3. (When our CB's would bail to the deep third the Curl route was right there for the taking)
- Use Quick Slants and Fade passing concepts when Nebraska went to Man Defense.
It's been nothing fancy. We've just been outcoached and outplayed.
Maybe we see the 2nd half offensive scheme change like it did at UM.....We lulled them to sleep with a crappy plan in the 1st knowing we could keep it close and then exploit their confidence in the 2nd half...

I wish we were Kiera Knightly we'd have a winning record atleast. Not playoff contending but very respectable
