That doesn’t mean they are happy and don’t care about getting better.  You’re claims of that is BS. 

 
If 1/2 of the fans still want to keep Frost, which appears to be the case based on HuskerBoard posts, then saying fans are ok with moral victories seems accurate based on Frost’s 15-25 record and 3-5 record this season.

10-24 against P5 teams is the most damning stat to me. Frost can’t out coach his peers. Talent is there to at least be .500 in those games. Frost gets beat by his peers at a 70+% clip. That isn’t something that just goes away.
