I still wouldn’t mind getting rid of an LB coach for the ST coach. And who would do ST?
I would agree.I still wouldn’t mind getting rid of an LB coach for the ST coach.
My choice would be Dawson.
Mike Dawson has done a great job....remember?And who would do ST?
it isnt crazy, you get rid of a LB coach have Chinander help with LBers if needed (he coached it in the past) you can even go internal and do Busch and have him help Fisher with DBs if needed when not working on ST. Busch is a guy that if you can get on your staff you do it.I would agree.
Or one coach for TE and WR and freeing up a spot for Bush, Synder or someone capable of being the ST coach.
If we get an OC who is also thr qb coach, we will have room for a full time STs coach.I still wouldn’t mind getting rid of an LB coach for the ST coach.

Because other people have free will and are not required to do what Nebraska leadership wants regardless of leadership quality. Look around the college football landscape right now and you'll see that lots of places are struggling to hire coaches or retain coaches. No matter how good the leadership is, an OC candidate can suddenly be looking at HC offers if there's a lot of turnover at other schools that has nothing to do with NU or how they're conducting their coaching search. Why would hiring a new full staff be chaotic? The amount of chaos depends only on the quality of leadership in charge of the hiring.
Oh - I sure do. We were reminded of that with our little blocked punt episode and our game starting kickoff return for TD during the past 2 weeks.Mike Dawson has done a great job....remember?
Still doesn’t work.If we get an OC who is also thr qb coach, we will have room for a full time STs coach.
Scott might have to take ST over. Beemer and Urb did it for years. Are you assuming we will have an WR/TE coach then?
We can't have a OC/QB, RB, WR, TE, OL, ST, + 5 defensive assistants. That's 11, only allowed 10.
But then the offense might become inconsistent.Scott might have to take ST over. Beemer and Urb did it for years.
I think you are confusing “chaos” with “talent search”.Because other people have free will and are not required to do what Nebraska leadership wants regardless of leadership quality.
