Yeah, people need to realize baseball is such a marathon. At one point last year NC St was 4-9 and looked like the worst team in the ACC and Pitt was 9-4 and projected to host a regional. NC St ended up being one of the best teams in baseball and Pitt didn't even make the post season. Baseball is all how you finish. 

 
I had a feeling it would go this way.  Although I thought we might grab a few more runs.  Colin Atkinson is preseason all-WAC, and pitched great last year as a true frosh (6-1 2.72 era).  So I am not surprised he had success against the Husker bats.

Weather in Huntsville, Texas - beautiful.  Cloudy, no wind, 65 degrees.

This is a great opportunity for the Husker bats to come alive today.  I am pretty sure they have already seen the best of SH's pitching.  Time for some long ball on a sunday :w00t
