Our Homecoming Game

Hey husker fans, sorry about another bad loss, but it is just one step further to Cally gettin fired i guess.

Anyway, don't forget about the game after Texas, you have the Jayhawks in Lawrence. It is our homecoming game and we will give it our all and I hope NU does as well.

I wish I could look forward to a good football game, but these past 3 weeks have been disapointing for me. I've watched this Nebraska football program go from lookin like it was on the rebound to....this.... It really makes me sick that our great foe to the North has been weakened from within (by who knows what) I really hope NU beats Texas but I wouldnt put money on it. Help me decide wether I should go or not to our Homecoming game by beating the Longhorns! I know it doesnt look good at all, but we can see another upset in this crazy season.

A lot of teams have beaten "superior" foes. Stanford, Syracuse, App State, the list goes on. I want to see Nebraska pull of an upset, I am lookin forward to the fall of Texas this weekend. And after that you may see me at the KU homecoming game with my red and blue on. I will be the passed out one.

The catalyst in all those upsets has been desire. Unfortunetly we have a coaching staff with no desire to adjust and players with no desire to step up.

However i will still be rooting for the red. Good Luck on the rest of your season. If there is one team in the north i would want to win other than us, it would be you guys. But thats not saying alot considering the other goons in the north. None the less Good Luck.

You beat me to it. The reason those other teams can pull of upsets is because they play with heart, passion, and a want to win. Our team plays like they're being forced to against their will.

NU: 14

That said, I WANT YOU GUYS TO WIN THE NORTH IF WE CAN'T, DANGIT!! Go Hawks! Win out and take the Big 12!! I think both KU fans and NU fans will agree that Missouri or K-State winning the North would be pretty much the worst thing ever. :cheers

 
hey JHawk...you should go up to the game anyway. Especially with the Hawks looking like they might go undefeated this year. Even if you have to just sit on the hill.

I'll be at the game with a bunch of KU fans. I'll be the odd man out of course and probably get made fun of by all my friends, but I don't care. Should be fun....at least the tailgating will.

I'm rootin' for the Jayhawks to win the North now that we're pretty much out of it.

 
There is a good chance we will if Cally is calling the plays. Nu should let watson call the offense, NU D looked better with Cally directin it. Maybe Cally should be your new DC??

No need to apologize for the a$$ kicking your team is about to do on the Skers. The way we are are playing I can't say that they don't deserve it! KU is my fan fav to win the North!

I'm not sure about most Husker fans, but this one is definitely pulling for KU to win the north and beat Missouri in "their" year.

I'm not sure why you would be thinking about not going to the KU-NU game if you support the Jayhawks. An opportunity like that (sure win over NU) hasn't come around often for you guys. This is the worst Husker team in modern history and it appears to be the best Jayhawk team in the last 40 years. I'd say go while the gettin' is good.

I have to admit it feels strange to even think about KU winning a Big 12 football title. I still can't believe that in Osborne's 25 years at Nebraska he never lost to KU or K-State. Even Bill Snyder, in all his glory, was never able to beat Osborne. Ah, memories.

I have to be honest...I hope the Jayhawks do win the north at this point...it would be a good thing for them, and it wouldn't be Missouri, KState, or Colorado....
