I heard one of commentators say on an open mike that Meyers wife wouldn’t say yes- she likes Florida.
we're not interested in his wife. We're interested in him

Translation: I've only had 5 days on the job and it would be impossible to undo all the crap coaching, discipline and accountability these losers have ingrained. This is how you win the locker room.
Even if they just came from here the portal? And surely that is at semester?Only found that out a few days ago thanks to Reddit, if a coach is fire mid season kids can go into the portal for 30 days. Everyone was amazed we hadn't seen anyone go into it and all our recruits saying "All N" in tweets.
So much better than what Frost was say. Accountability has improvedThis is how you win the locker room.
Good man. I know we lost big but the team we played was more talented than we were and had a seasoned coaching staff. There were good things going on during this game. That we scored first was huge. I look for improvement as we go forward. This is how you win the locker room.
Don't get me wrong, I really like Mickey. However, the entire fan base has to be tired of all the talking. It really means nothing. So much better than what Frost was say. Accountability has improved
That part I don't know and wasn't discussed that I recall. NU players can apply for the portal for 30 days from the date of the firing if the coach is fired mid season. I would assume even the new portal guys could go back in but that is only a guess.Even if they just came from here the portal? And surely that is at semester?
That’s nice and all, but this is not on him. You don’t decide one to start tacking and blocking. So much better than what Frost was say. Accountability has improved
Exactly. His, "this is on me" portion was a bit over the top in my book. We all know it's not on him. It was more an awkward attempt to say exactly the opposite of what Scott would have said and what a coach "should" say.. Even so, a bit disingenuous. I mean, I don't care, but it didn't leave me thinking, "Oh, this guy is a master."That’s nice and all, but this is not on him. You don’t decide one to start tacking and blocking.
Eh. I’ve heard this before. That’s…nice…I guess. Especially considering it’s really not on him. This is how you win the locker room.

True, but As Bill Moos used to say:It's the necessary, bland coach-speak he has to say.
Which is an improvement over the self-inflicted wounds Frost caused by some of his comments.
