Thank you!!! If we land his commitment and he does switch positions does anyone think we get a commitment from Billy Kemp as well? I know our wr's haven't stepped up and their hasn't been alot of production from that group.

That's very true. Their are numerous factors as to why their hasn't been much production but at the end of the day people need to step up in general.

Your blaming wr for production with a poor OL,  injured qbs, backup qbs that were not ready to play & an offense that requires time to run longer routes.

Im blaming everyone not just wr's. Like I said we need people to step up this year.

I know what I said but i never went into specific as to why.  You did  and I agreed with you.  Maybe it seemed like I was blaming the wr room I wasn't I was stating the obvious.

Wow Texas State??!!!  Didn't even think they were a finalist.  Something must have changed or we were never full  in it with him like we all thought.

Yeah I was thinking that.  He won't let go of his dream.  I would say he needs to work on some things as a passer but I would say he is way further as a passer then Luke McCaffrey ever was.  I had to look up what division Texas State plays in and I didn't know they played in the Sun Belt. Best of luck to him if he decides to go there.

Hmmm….I actually think there has been a lot of production from the WR group. Sad thing is, it’s always from transfers in and not players we are developing from HS. Hopefully, that will change. 
 

But, at least the lady two -three years, our best players on offense have been WRs.
