OMAHA, Neb. — With weather forecasts calling for storms on Sunday, the start time for the Championship Game of the Big Ten Baseball Tournament Presented by IFS.ai has been moved up from 2 p.m. to 10 a.m. CT. The game will be broadcast on BTN.

No. 2 seed Nebraska and No. 8 Penn State will meet at Charles Schwab Field Omaha with a Big Ten title and automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament on the line.

This is a genuine question as I dont ever watch baseball.  Sears is our best pitcher if I’m not mistaken.  How come he can’t pitch this game as it’s obviously a big time game?

So is there a time frame where he is/isn’t allowed to pitch?  You would just think a game at this level to win a tournament championship it would be a nice feather in the teams hat.  It’s not likely they will go deep in the tournament.
